The Rafiki Bible Study on Revelation progresses in an expository way through each chapter of the book. Revelation symbolically reveals the spiritual warfare behind the events and powers of visible history, encouraging Christ’s church to endure suffering and remain pure, knowing that our Lord has triumphed as the Lion of Judah through his suffering as the Lamb. It affirms that Christ has complete authority and control and will come to the rescue of his people at God’s perfect time. After the destruction of every evil force opposed to God and his church and the passing away of the first heaven and earth, God will create a new heaven and a new earth as the joyful home of the Lamb’s bride, the church, where the Lord will dwell with his people forever. John’s vision of the bride as the holy city, the new Jerusalem, shows that God’s people will be his living Most Holy Place, radiating the light of his glory throughout eternity. Each lesson includes notes on the text and questions for discussion written and edited by reformed theologians.
