Edited by Rafiki president Rosemary Jensen and theologian David F. Wells, the Rafiki Bible Study (RBS) lessons are specifically designed for adults who meet in small groups in a church, home, workplace, college, or any place convenient.
It is most applicable where 5 to 15 people want a theologically sound and personally applicable study of the Bible one book at a time.
All sixty-six books of the Bible are available.
Originally written by eighteen notable theologians over a period of
thirteen years for English-speaking Africans,
the lessons have been re-edited recently for world-wide use.
Each lesson consists of printed notes by theologians with questions for discussion and a recommended commentary for further study on the particular Bible book being studied. Students are encouraged to use Crossway’s ESV Systematic Theology Study Bible or Ligonier’s Reformation Study Bible for further doctrinal insights.
The number of lessons for each book of the Bible varies.
Copies of the notes and questions for each entire book are sold in packs of five.
“I believe that this is the best Bible study available anywhere.
There is simply no
other study like it.”
“It is through his Word that God addresses us. It is His Word that instructs us, illumines our path, and nourishes our soul.
This is why Rafiki put together this Bible study.
Its aim is that we might learn to think our thoughts after God and walk in his ways.
It is the most extensive, thorough, and edifying Bible study that I know about.
I am delighted to be able to commend it.”
